About The Author: Professor Govindaiah Godavarthi has been teaching in the Department of English at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad. He holds Ph.D and an M.A from the University of Hyderabad and an MA and M.Phil from EFL University . His areas of expertise include ELT, Cultural Studies, and Subaltern literature. He not only contributed to curriculum development, organization of workshops, seminars, conferences and other academic events of national and international levels but also served in various academic and administrative committees at MANUU. He is a distinguished scholar with numerous publications. He recently co-edited two books: New Approaches and Methods in ELT and Emerging Trends in ELT.
